The mission of First Presbyterian Church of Sweetwater is to increase our love for God and to help meet the needs of our congregation and community by "loving God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves." We believe that we are all called to glorify God and proclaim the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We exist to grow in faith and share our faith in God with the world around us.
FPC Sweetwater News
We are excited to lead worship at Hoyt Court, Sunday, September 7 from 9:00am-9:30am. We will sing and hear the Word of God. Come join us in this wonderful ministry of fellowship.
The Adult Bible Study will meet at 9:45am on Sunday, September 7, and the Children’s Sunday School will meet at 10:00am. We will worship together at 10:45am for Youth Sunday and the Back to School Blessing. Communion will be served by the Class of 2026. During the worship service, the Reverse offering will be collected which goes to support the Nolan County Food Pantry.
All Youth will meet after worship for Bible Study and Fellowship.
The Home Worship provided by Pastor Kathy Monroe is attached.

Presbyterian Women ~ Memorial Brick Project
Presbyterian Women
All women are invited to be a part of the Presbyterian Women group at First Presbyterian Sweetwater. Presbyterian Women meet the third Tuesday of each month September- May at noon. Click here for more information.
Children and Youth
There is a Children's Sunday School Class which meets from 10:00am-10:30am each Sunday.
The children and youth meet for Bible study and participate in worship for Youth Sunday. There are two groups: IBKs for ages preschool - 5th grade and Youth for Middle School and High School. Here is the schedule for the monthly activities.

We are excited to share that our church now has access to an extensive, new video library called RightNow Media! It’s like the "Netflix of Video Bible Studies" and has a HUGE library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want—on your phone, iPad, computer, or at home on your TV.
